Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr. Sunday Dare has commenced the distribution of palliative materials to the less privileged as part of measures to cushion the effect of the sit-at-home directive and social distancing order by Oyo state government.
The palliatives which was distributed through Support Oyo Campaign(SOC ), an initiative of Sunday Dare was distributed to poor and vulnerable residents both in urban and rural communities in Oyo state.
According to Mr. Dare, he said it is not about rushing to do something but to do it well and effective service delivery should be upper most
He said, the palliatives will get to the grassroots especially the poor, vulnerable and the aged in the society without hitches.
The Support Oyo Campaign by the Minister of Youth and Sports development is said to be an initiative to support the government in the provision of palliatives to people in a bid to cushion the effects of the partial lockdown.
