Akinajo Foundation Gives Free Educational Materials To Public School Pupils In Ibadan Northeast
Over 18 Public primary schools across Ibadan Northeast Constituency 1 have benefitted from the Akinajo Foundation Educational Distribution Programme.
While speaking, Mr. Babatunde Adeyemi, the coordinator of Akinajo foundation said the gesture was aimed at eradicating illiteracy and improving the knowledge acquiring culture of the pupils.
He added that the foundation intended to provide a knowledge warehouse for children and to support government at all levels in improving educational infrastructure for effective teaching and learning.
” Akinajo foundation deems it fit to encourage and assist pupils in the state to attain greater heights and break even towards a successful future and that is why we are doling out free educational materials to facilitate a fast learning process and assimilation.
” The materials distributed for the pupils would complement the state government’s effort and also assist parents in giving their children quality education,” Adeyemi stated.
Speaking further, Adeyemi said the foundation has earlier distributed food items to over 100 needy and while ago organized a free Medical Outreach for people of Ibadan Norteast, wherein over 5000 residents benefited from the health program, he added plans are underway to repeat such health programs for the people of Ibadan Northeast in the coming months.
