2021 : Ilaka Urges Oyo Residents To Keep Hope Alive
Chief of Staff to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Chief Luqman Oyebisi Ilaka has urged Oyo state residents to keep their hope alive as the new year holds a lot of positives for Oyo state and her residents.
Ilaka, in his new year message admonished the people of Oyo state to leave behind the oddity of 2020 and look forward to the prosperous days of 2021 said despite the challenges of 2020, the new year holds a lot of positives.
He also advised the state residents to continue to stick to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) guidelines for the containment of the COVID-19 pandemic.
” Wishing you and your family good health, happiness, success and prosperity in this new year.
” As we bid farewell to 2020, let’s all ruminate on all the lessons from its best part: the stories of our health care workers who stood on the frontlines and the bravery of our young people that challenged the status quo.
” Even as we celebrate with friends and family, I ask that we pray for a more peaceful and prosperous nation and ensure that we observe the COVID-19 guidelines and stay safe.
” We pray for a better and safer 2021. Wishing you and yours a Happy New Year”. Ilaka stated.
