The Iseyin local government chapter of the Social Democratic Party ‘SDP’ has unveiled candidates of the party ahead of the local government elections in the state.
SDP party chairman of Iseyin local government, Hon. (Alhaji) AbdulRashid Akanni Adeshina Abdlallah who does the
unveiling on Wednesday at the L A Primary School, Oke Esa, Iseyin said all thue party’s candidates are of good character with traceable names.
According to Hon. AbdulRashid he explained that his party is fully ready to contest the council election and is optimistic that, all the candidates will coast to victory.
” Today, we have unveiled our chairmanship candidate and counselorship candidates of Iseyin local government, they are traceable individuals with good character.” Hon. AbdulRashid stated.
” We will keep urging our people to vote based on competence, capacity, and character and if this is done, we are confident that all our candidates will win the election.
The party presented Hon. Olawumi Samuel Oludele as the chairmanship candidate and Hon.Obayemi Abiodun Abdulrafiu,-as the vice Chairmanship candidate.
Councillorship candidates are:
1. Hon. Eritosi Olusegun -ado-awaye (Ward 01).
2. Hon. Akinbode Ismail (Ward 02 Akinwumi/Osoogun).
3. Hon Yekeen Jimoh Elefo (Ward 3-ekunle 1)
4. Hon. Oyetoro Latifat (Ward 04 Ekunle 2).
5. Hon. Saadudeen Ibrahim Wale (Faramora Ward 05,).
6. Hon.Raji Adabo Olakiitan Biliaminu Ward 06( Oke Ola, Oke Oja,Ijemba).
7. Hon Adewuyi Saheed Elegusi (Ward 07 Isalu 1).
8. Hon Ahmed Ahmad (Ward 08 Isalu 2).
9. Hon. Ganiyu Waheed Alateorun (Ward 09 Koso 1).
10. Hon.Ajibike Juwairat Iyabode (Ward 10 Koso 2).
11. Hon. Okesiji Fatai (Ward 11 Ladogan Oke Eyin).
Present at the SDP chairmanship and councillorship candidates unveiling includes, some traditional Chiefs, Religious leaders, and party Stalwarts were in Attendance.
