We’ll Greatly Miss Akeredolu – Makinde
Governor Seyi Makinde has reiterated that the nation will greatly miss the late governor of Ondo state, Rotimi Akeredolu (SAN).
He described the departed as an embodiment of humility and aggressive fighter for human rights.
The governor gave the commendation in his message to the special court session in honour of the late Rotimi Akeredolu held at the Ondo state high court complex in Akure.
Governor Seyi Makinde who was represented by the state deputy gov, barrister Bayo Lawal charged Nigerians to emulate the virtues of Aketi, the departed was fondly called, adding that late governor Akeredolu actively fought for regional and national unity.
Ondo state governor, Lucky Ayedatiwa described the late Akeredolu as an achiever, who ruled the state with fairness and equity.
A brief lying in state availed workers and other well-wishers the opportunity to pay the last respects.
