A prominent family head and political figure in Ibadanland, Mogaji Hon. Olamide Akinajo, has congratulated Barrister Olumuyiwa Makinde on his recent elevation as the Aare Onibon Olubadan, one of the key traditional titles in the Olubadan chieftaincy hierarchy.

Barr. Makinde was among several high chiefs elevated by the Olubadan of Ibadanland during a formal ceremony held at the Olubadan Palace in Ibadan on Friday. The elevation marks a significant milestone in the traditional leadership structure and succession process in the ancient city.
In a statement issued in Ibadan, Mogaji Akinajo, who hails from the Akinajo compound in Oje, Ibadan, described the elevation of Barr. Makinde as well-deserved and a testament to his dedication to the cultural and civic life of Ibadan.
