Traditional Chiefs, Religious Leaders, Party Chieftains Present As PDP Flag-Off LG Election Campaign In Lagelu
The Kamoru campaign on Thursday met ‘Obas and Baales’, and the various faith-based stakeholders- inclusive of Traditional worshipers, Christian and Islamic communities from across Lagelu local government area, as the peoples democratic party (PDP) officially flagoff local government election campaign in Lalupon.
The meeting was part of a series of engagements the campaign has been having with key stakeholders and organizers across traditional, religious, and professional institutions since the campaign council got inaugurated.
At close sessions held consecutively with the various bodies, the campaign council presented Lagelu-PDP chairmanship candidate, Kamoru, his vice, Sodiq and fourteen councilorship candidates to community stakeholders and organizers in a major campaign event that symbolized the crucial role of religious and traditional institutions to grassroots’ social and political development.
The traditional council of Lagelu local government, and all faith-based stakeholders during the close sessions gave acknowledgement of the party flag-bearer, Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen, his vice, and fourteen councilorship candidates as good prospects for more better hands on local affairs.
Present at the close sessions with the traditional and religious bodies are the peoples democratic party stakeholders; the leaders and elders caucus, party faithfuls, the chairmanship candidate, his vice, and fourteen councilorship candidates, all traditional rulers, campaign council members, and faith-based leaders from across Lagelu local government area.
