T1FF Founder, Amb. Taiwo Provides Clothes, Household Items For Underprivileged People In Ibadan
Founder of an Ibadan-based Non-governmental organization, Twenty One Five Child Foundation, Ambassador Tolu Taiwo, on Tuesday, celebrated her birthday with the underprivileged in Ibadan, Oyo state capital.
To mark the occasion, Amb. Taiwo distributed free clothing, shoes and bags for men, women, and children.
Toys were also gifted to kids, alongside household items such as televisions, fans, kettles, and rugs.
The event was also aimed to bring joy to those in need and provide essential items to support their daily lives.
Speaking to journalists, Amb. Taiwo expressed her joy at seeing the smiles on the faces of beneficiaries, especially the elderly.
She revealed that the Twenty One Five Child Foundation was established to honor her son, Boluwatife, who has been her greatest source of inspiration and happiness.
Amb. Taiwo explained that T1FF focuses on supporting, educating, and empowering pregnant teenagers with essential maternity knowledge to ensure safe delivery and improve birth outcomes through the provision of delivery packs and educative programs.
She said the foundation has helped many pregnant teenagers, supported them encouraged them towards picking themselves up to make the best out of life.
Speaking on how she was able to gather resources for the event despite economic challenges, she said: “This wasn’t something I put together in a short while. I had been planning for some time, and I’m also grateful to friends who made donations. From time to time, I’ll ensure that this program is repeated.”
She emphasized the foundation’s commitment to making a difference.
“T1FF is dedicated to reaching out to people and touching lives in meaningful ways. We are creative in our approach, and we’ll continue to organize programs like this to bring smiles to people’s faces and make a lasting impact.”
Amb. Taiwo assured that there is more to come from the foundation and encouraged others to join in the mission of uplifting the underprivileged.
