Popson’s Death: Hon. Fola Oyekunle Expresses Shock, Commiserates With Makinde, Family, Ibadan Southeast
The Member Representing Ibadan North State Constituency 1 at the OYHA, Fola Oyekunle, has expressed shock over the demise of a member, Hon. Olusegun Popoola.
Olusegun Popoola, who represented Ibadan Southeast Constituency 11 at the 9th Assembly in Oyo State on the platform of PDP, passed away at the University Teaching Hospital in the early hours of Wednesday.
The serving lawmaker, the deceased legislator was the chairman of, House Committee on Local Government, Chieftaincy Matters
Fola Oyekunle said that he was deeply touched by the news of the lawmaker’s death, describing it as painful.
Oyekunle said Mr. Olusegun Popoola was a committed lawmaker who meant well for his constituents and the state as a whole.
He commiserated with the family, Gov. Malinda, Ibadan Southeast Local Government, and the PDP as a whole, adding that the late lawmaker will be sorely missed.
