The People Democratic Party chairman in Ido Local Government, Alhaji Ayuba Akinsola has admonished the party members to remain united more than before ahead of the April 27 Local Government election.
Alhaji Ayuba gave the words of admonition during the re-election campaign of Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo at Olupoyi Durotola community in Ward 10.
Alhaji Ayuba described Hon. Sheriff Adeojo as the little bride that the people of Ido local government are clamoring for his return as the chairman for the second term due to his giant strides during the first term in office.
He warned the members most especially the party agents to man their polling units during the election not to give room to the opposition to rig or cause chaos during the election.
The party chieftain equally called on the women folk in the party to avoid what could cause discord among them before and after the election.
The party flag bearer and current chairman of the local government, Hon. Sheriff Adeojo promised to build on his achievement and bring development to the nooks and crannies of the local government when re-elected to the office.
