A Federal House of Representatives aspirant in Akinyele, Lagelu federal constituency under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party, Hon. Ramata Agberemi Dabo ” RAD” has rewarded some party leaders, and members who were loyal and supportive during her struggle to get the PDP ticket to represent the federal constituency in Abuja.
It will be recalled that, Hon Ramata Agberemi Dabo lost the ticket to Hon. Adetokunbo Adeaga Abideen in a keen contested party primary election.
Unlike other politicians with funfair assistance for their loyalists, Hon. Ramata reached out to the beneficiaries unaware with
Chest Freezer and #100,000 each as start-up grants and little assistance for their various businesses.
In her statement, Hon. Ramata who is the CEO of Baby Blue Angels Foundation said she is giving out to her party leaders, members as a result of their loyalty, commitment, and consistency before and during her primary election, ” these are the kind of people we need, well committed, kind hearted souls, that wanted change for a better future ahead.
” During the struggle, we discovered some outstanding loyal, patient, and hardworking party leaders and members who are very loyal to the course, I just deem it fit to put smiles on the faces of those individuals, party faithful, leaders, and stakeholders.
” Am doing this out of passion, it is something I have concluded in my mind to do irrespective of any circumstances beyond me. I am celebrating their loyalty so that other political followers can imbibe such good character and loyalty in the course of politics. This is an encouragement for healthy politics at the grassroots. This will not be all, we are reaching out to these people in phases, and more people will still be added to the beneficiary list soonest.
Hon. Ramata in her appreciation for the encouragement and support received from the beneficiaries during the concluded party primaries urged all the beneficiaries to keep on being loyal and stay away from politics of bitterness, moreover advised each one of them to make judicious use of the item and cash given to them.
The former Federal representative aspirant also appreciated the uncommon leadership of the Oyo state Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde FNSE thanked him for giving her the privilege and rare opportunity given to her and other women to have equal rights with men while displaying their political abilities.
