The dead of the monarch was made known to some members of the public through a mourning massage posted on Facebook page of one of the Oyo state Assembly lawmaker, Hon. Qozeem Olayanju.
He wrote: “ I am extremely sad and heartbroken to learn about the passing of His Royal Highness Oba Emmanuel Oyekan Oyebisi Afasegbejo 111 the Onigbeti of Igbetiland.
“ As we mourn the passing of our great King, I pray that Almighty God comforts his wives, his children, the people of Igbeti. He will be dearly missed. Hon Olayanju wrote.
