Local Government Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Yusuff Sahib Oladayo (Agba Egbe) has expressed shock over the sudden demise of Oyo Assembly Lawmaker, Hon. Olusegun Popoola.
The serving lawmaker reportedly died last night at University College Hospital, UCH, Ibadan, at the age of 46.
In a condolence message signed by Ibadan North Chairman, Agba Egbe, released by his media and publicity Bodija Akinwale said Popoola died when his services to his constituency and state were most needed.
“I mourn the demise of a young and active politician who was willingly and ever ready to give his best in service to God and humanity.
“The late Hon. Olusegun Popoola died when his services to his constituency and state were most needed.
“He was a committed and hard-working member, who championed the cause of his people.
“My hearts go out to his immediate family, the people of Ibadan Southeast Constituency 11, and Oyo State over this great loss.
“I pray God Almighty to give them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. The state as a whole will surely miss him,” the message concludes
