The Otun Akogun Onisowo of Ibadanland, Oyo State, Chief Femi Olawale Junaid has felicitated Babaloja of Oyo State, Alhaji YK Abbass, Iyaloja of Oyo State, Alhaja Saratu Aduke Konibaje, Babaloja of Ibadanland who is also the Aare Oloja of Ibadanland, Alhaji Dauda Abiodun Oladepo, Iyaloja of Ibadanland, Alhaja Sariat Ojikutu Olorunero and Market Women on occasion of last Eid-El-Fitr and however commiserated with them on the catastrophic inferno that razed Bodija market.

Chief Olawale Junaid in a statement made available to pressmen congratulated them and entire Muslims on the last celebration of Eid-El-Fitri that marked the completion of Ramadan 1444AH.

Ibadan-born businessman described last Ramadan as the 9th Lunar Islamic Month which invariably refers to complete absenteeism from food and other pleasurable desires from morning till sunset and its completion signals the commencement of the new Islamic month(Shawwal).

He also prayed to Allah to make the celebration of the subsequent Eid-El-Fitri more prosperous, blissful, and grateful.

He commended the market leaders in Ibadan and Oyo State for the exhibition of leadership qualities and charisma that keep them and all members together.

In another vein, Chief Junaid commiserated with the leaders and members of Bodija Market over the inferno that gutted the place and properties.

The Otun Akogun Onisowo of Ibadanland enjoined those whose properties were gutted by fire to have firm faith in God almighty as what had got lost would be recovered.

He called on Oyo State Government, other public officers, and philanthropists in Ibadan to come to their aid to recover what has been lost.

Chief Junaid prayed to God almighty to distance them all from similar experiences of such catastrophic and melancholic occurrences.
