Ongoing OYOSUBEB Exam, Adeniran Says Many Candidates Don’t Know How To Use Computer
The Oyo state Universal Education Board ( OYOSUBEB ) chairman, Dr. Nureni Aderemi Adeniran has explained that the majority of the applicants who are writing the ongoing Computer Base Test (CBT) exams for recruitment as primary school teachers were not used to operating computers.
It will be recall that OYOSUBEB opened a job application portal for the recruitment of 7,000 primary school teachers on June 25, 2024, and thereafter sorted applicants out of 52, 423 applications received.
OYOSUBEB fixed Monday, July 22- Friday, July 26, 2024, for the computer-based test (CBT) exam for applicants at the University of Ibadan Distance Learning Centre’s Computer Based Testing Centre at Ajibode, Ibadan
During his visit to the exam centre on Tuesday, the OYOSUBEB chairman Adeniran revealed that many of the candidates find it difficult to log in and use the mouse. He advised other candidates who are preparing for the exam to go and learn learn the basics of the computer before sitting for the examination.
According to Adeniran on his Facebook handle, he wrote:
Day 2:
I’m at the CBT center.
I appeal to the candidates who are yet to sit for the exams: Please visit a cyber-cafe near you and learn the basics of computer use. We discovered that many of the candidates find it difficult to log in and use the mouse.

Adeniran and the board members are expected to sit next week after the completion of the CTB exam to determine the cut-off mark for the recruitment.
