Ogundoyin Poly Council Chair Mourns As Governor Makinde Loses Mum

The Chairman, Governing Council of Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, Eruwa, Dr. Samuel Ogundiran has condoled with Seyi Makinde, Oyo state governor on the death of his mother, Mrs. Abigail Makinde, described the death painful and a great loss.

Dr. Ogundira condolence message was reflected in a statement released to journalists by Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic Governing Council Chairman in Ibarapa, on Monday.

Commiserating with the family of the governor, government and people of the Oyo state, Ogundiran said he, members of staff and students of Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic Eruwa received the sad news with shock.

In a condolence message, he described Mama as a God-fearing woman who dedicated her life to the service of God. Not only that, but her motherly support was eminent in the life of his son, His Excellency, ‘Seyi Makinde.

“She died at a time when the Governor needed her motherly and elderly advice. Dead is indeed inevitable. If not, it shouldn’t have taken Mama away at this time, but who are we to question the decision of her Creator?”

“Her virtues cannot be forgotten so soon. Mama will be missed and remembered by the generality of Oyo State citizens.”

“I commiserate with the family and Oyo State Government. Your Excellency, I beseech you to take solace in the fact that Mama lived a fufilled life.”

May God give the entire family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace, Dr. Ogundiran stated.
