Ogun Kidnapped, Police Rescues Redeemed Deaconess, Others
The Ogun state police command has rescued the female among the kidnapped members of the Redeemed Christian Church.
The victim Mrs Ibelegbo Chidinma was rescued from the forest where she was kept unhurt.
The Deaconess of the Redeemed church of God regained freedom in the early hour of today 3rd of August 2019.
According to a statement by the Ogun police command spokesman, Mr. Abimbola Oyeyemi the kidnap victim is currently at the command’s headquarters in Abeokuta where arrangement is being made to take her to the Redemption Camp.
He stated that the efforts was in top gear to rescue the remaining victims as the kidnappers had kept them in separate locations and were changing the locations from time to time within the forest.
The Ogun Police command assured members of the public that the remaining victims will soon be rescued.
