The New Nigerian People’s Party (NNPP) southwest zonal executives have ratified the removal of the chairman, Prince Ademola Ayoade from the party.
The expulsion of Ayoade was announced in a press statement signed and made available to the press in Ibadan on Wednesday evening by the zonal secretary, Comrade Babatunde Oke.
According to the statement, Oke said, the expulsion of Prince Ayoade from the party was a result of a confirmed allegation, which was leveled against the chairman by the party excos and stakeholders of his political Ward in Ibarapa Central local government area of Oyo State.
It was stated that Ayoade’s removal from the party was ratified by all the state chairmen and stakeholders of the party in Ibadan during the zonal meeting of the party.
South west zonal excos that signed the chairman’s removal include: Oke Babatunde Zonal Secretary, Hon. Oyesola A. Organizing secretary, Comrade Kilamuwaye Badmus Zonal Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Olayiwola Musibau Ex officio, Hon. Solape Olatumbosun. National Women Leader, Princess Adebowale T.O South West Woman Leader and Ibrahim Shuaibu Treasurer.
Also supported the removal with signatures were the 6 state party chairmen from South west, they include, Alhaji Abdul Salam Abiodun Abdul-Lateef, Osun, Pastor Peter Olagookun, Ondo, Sesan Adegbola, Oyo Chief Adisa Falade, Lagos, Hon. Olayinka Dodo, Ekiti and Comrade Oginni, Ogun

Zonal Executive Council Ratifies The Removal of Prince Ademola Ayoade as Southwest Chairman of New Nigeria People’s Party NNPP.
It would be recalled that Ward 4 Executive Council led by the Chairman, Ibarapa centeal Local Government of Oyo state on the 26th of September, 2022 said after making use of all internal dispute mechanisms within our party to call the erstwhile Zonal Chairman Prince Ademola Ayoade to order but all to no avail took a decisive step by Passing Vote of No Confidence on him, the decision that was unanimously agreed and signed by all the Stakeholders including the Ward Executive Officers in the Ward.
Subsequently, the resolution was transmitted to Ibarapa Local Government of Oyo State NNPP and after a careful study of the report, the entire Executive Council, as well as Stakeholders, approved the decision of Ward 4 of Ibarapa Local Government NNPP on the 11th of October, 2022.
The above Reports were transmitted to the State Leadership of our Great Party NNPP Oyo State Chapter for consideration and were consequently Ratified and transmitted to the Southwest Leadership of NNPP.
On the 12th of October, 2023, The Southwest Executives of our Party, The Six State CHAIRMEN from Oyo, Ogun, Lagos, Ondo, Osun, and Ekiti, and Some leaders in the Zone met in Ibadan to discuss some fundamental issues bothering the coming General Election and the Southwest interest. Having received the copies of the Resolution on the Removal of Prince Ademola Ayoade as Southwest Chairman by his Ward, Local Government, and State.
Council considered it expedient after a careful study of the report and its sensitivity to ratify the decision on the removal of the erstwhile Zonal Chairman and the same note Approved the Nomination of the Formal Southwest Ex Officio from Oyo State as Acting Zonal Chairman as well as that of Honourable Ayobami Idowu as Southwest Ex Officio from Oyo State.
The decision soon is transmitted to the National Working Committee of our Party NNPP and other Relevant Stakeholders.
In line with the Forgoing, The Southwest Leadership of New Nigeria People’s Party NNPP wishes to inform the General Public that Prince Ayoade Ademola is no longer the Chairman of our Party in The Southwest. The New Chairman is Alhaji Olayiwola Musbau who is to lead the Zone in Acting Capacity.

While we assure our Great Party NNPP and our Presidential Candidate His Excellency Distinguished Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso of our maximum Support in the coming Election, we will like to appeal for their maximum support and cooperation.
It will be recalled that Weaterndailynews.com a few days ago reported how the New Nigerian People Party ( NNPP), Oyo state chapter suspended the Zonal Chairman of the party, Ayo, over not being a registered party member in the state.
Ayoade’s earlier suspension as a member of the party in Oyo state came after a review of allegations leveled against him from his political ward in Ibarapa.
