People’s Democratic Party Candidate chairmanship candidate in Lagelu local government area of Oyo state, Hon Mudashiru Kamorudeen joined dignitaries on Friday to pay a condolence visit to the family of the late late Ibadan First Class King, His Imperial Majesty Oba Mahood Ishola Ali-Okunmade II, at Ali-wo, the ancestral home of the late monarch

The campaign media coordinator for the chairmanship candidate, Mr. I.show, disclosed this in a statement made available to journalists.

The statement quoted Kamarudeen
as saying that Oba Olalekan Balogun’s
earthly sojourn, both in private and public spheres, was impactful and he left an indelible mark on humanity.

He described the late monarch as a father to all, someone who committed himself to the protection of Yoruba cultural heritage, doing justice to unjust matters, said, the late Oba Balogun impacted many lives during his lifetime.

Kamarudeen said, ‘ When we lose a valued life on earth,  heaven gains another angel.

” His imperial majesty Oba Mahood Ishola Ali-Okunmade II was one of the finest Olubadan that ever ruled, I am lucky to witnessed his reign.

” My Sincere condolences to the grieving family, Oyo state government,
Olubadan in Council, Ibadan Mohajis, CCII, Ali-wo’s clan, Ibadan Sons and Daughters. May Almighty Allah give all the complete fortitude to bear the great loss,” – Hon Kamorudeen said.
