Lagelu Leaders Rally Behind AKT as He Picks APM Nomination Form


The Lagelu local government Consensus Candidate and member representing Lagelu State Constituency at the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Olajide Akintunde popularly known as AKT, has officially picked his nomination form under the platform of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) at the party’s state secretariat in Ibadan.

The development comes following the unanimous consensus and endorsement reached by stakeholders, leaders and party faithful across Lagelu Local Government, as well as the backing of the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde.

Speaking shortly after obtaining the nomination form, Hon. Olajide Akintunde expressed appreciation to Governor Makinde, party leaders, stakeholders and the people of Lagelu for the confidence reposed in him, assuring them of continued quality representation, loyalty and commitment to the growth and development of the constituency.

AKT described the endorsement and consensus arrangement as a reflection of the unity, trust and collective resolve of the people of Lagelu to sustain purposeful leadership and progressive representation in the state assembly.
He reaffirmed his dedication to grassroots development, youth empowerment, infrastructural advancement and people-oriented legislation, promising not to disappoint the confidence placed in him by the party and constituents.
Party leaders and supporters who accompanied him to the APM Party House described AKT as a tested, trusted and accessible leader whose legislative contributions and connection with the grassroots have continued to earn him admiration across Lagelu Local Government.


The atmosphere at the party secretariat was filled with jubilation and solidarity chants from supporters who expressed optimism that the lawmaker would emerge victorious at the polls.
