It Is Visible That Gov. Makinde ‘ll Win With Wide Margins – Oyo ALGON Hints, Begins Campaign For His Re-election
Oyo local government chairmen, under the umbrella of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), have thrown their support behind the second-term bid of the State Governor, Seyi Makinde.
The chairmen led by Hon. Sikiru Sanda
after the meeting held with Seyi Makinde on Thursday at the governor’s office revealed that he and his colleagues are supporting the governor because of his outstanding leadership style and unmatchable achievements spread across all 33 local government areas in the State in just three years.
” Governor Makinde has given the people of Oyo state many reasons to re-elect him. Before the completion of his four-year term, he completed several projects in all the 33 local government areas and this has never happened before in the history of Oyo State”,
” What everyone in the state wants is good governance and we are already witnessing various outstanding achievements of the governor, so we members of ALGON in Oyo state don’t want to be left out in working for the re-election of Mr. Success.
” We have the opportunity of sitting down with him today, and all he promised us is that Oyo state must be repositioned to greatness.
Hon. Sikiru sand thereafter implored the people of Oyo state to stay firm with their decision to return governor Seyi Makinde for another four years, said governor Makinde will not only win but win with wide margins that will make even the losers not to think of proceeding to the tribunal.
After the meeting with the governor, ALGON’s publicity secretary, Hon. Sahib Oladayo confirmed that the chairmen presented over seventy thousand posters, five thousand face caps, five thousand stickers, and wristbands among other campaign items, to the governor to support his re-election bid
