The Southwest organizing secretary of New Nigerian People’s Party, (NNPP) Hon. Abiodun Oyesola has said
the former zonal chairman of the party, Prince Ademola Ayoade, might likely face legal action, if he continues to parade himself as the chairman of the party in the southwest, after being expelled.
NNPP Southwest organizing secretary said if Prince Ayoade, after his expulsion from the party, continues to go to the public and parade himself as the chairman of the party, the party will have no option but to hand him over to the police.
Abiodun Oyesola made the statement while reacting to a meeting held by the southwest state’s chairmen at the residence of the national publicity of the party, Ladipo Jonshon, in Lagos, anchored by the expelled chairman, Ayoade.
In his reaction, Oyesola said, Prince Ademola Ayoade has been expelled from the party by his Ward and local government in Oyo state since 2022.
” It is saddened that Prince Ademola Ayoade continues to parade himself as the zonal chairman of the party after his expulsion on September 26, 2022.
” His acclaimed political Ward ( Ward 4 ), in Ibarapa Central local government area in Oyo state, denied him of being a member of the party, said he is neither known as a member nor a registered member of the party. He was also accused of not being a financial contributor to the party, which was also confirmed by the local government and the state party in Oyo.
” Even when he was the chairman, Prince Ayoade was accused many times of incompetence and negligence to duty by Southwest executive members. The confirmation of all allegations leveled against him called for the ratification of his expulsion from the party.
” To this end, if after 2 years, Prince Ayoade continues to go around, calling himself chairman after expulsion from the party, then we have no option but to petition security agencies for his impersonation act.
In similar reaction, the Oyo state NNPP executives on Friday told Hon. Omotunde Fajuyi not see herself as figure in Oyo NNPP because he is not recognized.
The party through the state publicity secretary, Demola Oke said, the Oyo state party executive under the Chairperson of Hon. Mrs. Ayobamidele Idowu Adekunle is still intact, so anyone parading him or herself as chairman will be taken as rebel while party will have no choice than to take legal action again such person.

Omotunde Fajuyi from Ekiti has started parading herself as Oyo state NNPP chairman, as this was also confirmed during a meeting held by some southwest state chairman in Lagos.
” Henceforth, Oyo state party, will no longer tolerate any impersonation on our chairman or activities on behalf of the party, as further action from anyone will be rebuke legally,” Oyo NNPP said.
