The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Oyo State, Senator Sharafadeen Alli, has felicitated former Senate Leader, Senator Teslim Folarin, on his 63rd birthday, describing him as a major pillar of the party in the state.
Alli, in a birthday message personally signed by him, praised Folarin for his political experience, loyalty, resilience and contributions to the growth of the APC and democratic development in Oyo State.
He described the former Senate Leader as an influential political figure whose years of public service and leadership experience had continued to strengthen the party’s political structures and strategic direction.
The APC governorship candidate particularly highlighted Folarin’s ability to mobilise political support, build relationships across political divides and provide leadership within the party, noting that his contributions went beyond the various public offices he had occupied.
Alli also commended Folarin’s role as President Bola Tinubu’s Campaign Coordinator in Oyo State, describing his involvement in the promotion of the Renewed Hope Agenda as evidence of his political influence and organisational capacity.
He noted that Folarin’s sacrifices, political investments and commitment to party unity remained valuable assets as the APC continued efforts to consolidate its structures and expand its political acceptance across Oyo State.
According to Alli, Folarin’s political journey demonstrates that genuine leadership is measured not only by positions held but also by the impact made and the people inspired.
He expressed confidence that the celebrant’s wealth of experience and strategic contributions would remain instrumental to the APC’s ambition of providing purposeful, inclusive and people-oriented leadership in Oyo State.
Alli urged party leaders, stakeholders and supporters to draw inspiration from Folarin’s political maturity, loyalty and commitment to the progressive movement.
He prayed that Almighty Allah would grant the former Senate Leader more years of good health, wisdom, renewed strength and greater opportunities to continue serving humanity.
The APC candidate wished Folarin a happy 63rd birthday on behalf of his family, political associates and supporters, expressing hope that the years ahead would bring him greater accomplishments and fulfilment.
