Sarumi, A former member at the house of representative, who represented Ibadan North Federal Constituency passed on in Ibadan on Friday evening at the age of 75
Agbe Egbe , In a statement signed by his Media Aide, Mr Bodija Akinwale said Baba Sarumi’s death was a huge loss not just to Ibadan North Local Government but to the entire State.
“I was deeply shocked to learn of his death this evening. He was one of the most prominent lawmakers who did not shy away from issues that affected Nigerians in general.
“He was very passionate about Oyo state progress and contributed immensely to the expansion of common wealth to our people, especially in Ibadan North LG. Baba Sarumi was a loving man, a peacemaker, a grassroots politician and a detribalized Nigerian who was well-loved by his people,” Agba Egbe Said.
Agba Egbe also commiserated with the immediate family, Governor Seyi Makinde over the sad loss.
