The Ibadan North local government Director General of governor Seyi Makinde’s re-election bid, Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle “DON” has said all hands are on the desk for the organization of a rosy welcome and campaign rally for the governor on February 17th.
Oyekunle who briefed newsmen on the activities lined up for the proposed mega rally after the council re-election campaign committee meeting, held at the party house, yemetu, Ibadan on Thursday., said the rally will be a homecoming for the state governor.
According to Oyekunle, he said, he and the members of his committee are set to welcome the state governor Seyi Makinde in Ibadan North for his campaign rally.
Oyekunle, who is the present lawmaker, representing Ibadan North constituency 1, explained that, having seen the warm reception and highly attractive campaign rally
organized for the PDP governorship candidate in some Oke-Ogun, Oyo, and Ogbomoso local governments explain that, his local government is poised to organize mother of all the so far campaign rallies.” Governor Seyi Makinde deserved his second term and we will give him. He is coming to our local government on February 17th, it is on that day His Excellency will testify that, the people of Ibadan North are solidly behind him and will surpass the massive vote of 2019.
” Myself as DG and entire committee members are leaving no stone unturned, we have seen how far the other local governments have done with the campaign rally, and I am assuring that we will do multiple of that in Ibadan North, just to celebrate an outstanding governor ahead of his second term.
” Come February 18th, we will give governor Seyi Makinde a homely welcome, he will see how much we love him and are ready to return him to Agodi House.
He thereafter assured the residents of adequate security to guarantee a hitch-free governorship campaign rally for the party’s governor Seyi Makinde within Ibadan North local government, Ibadan, slated for February 17th.
