The Governor of Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde has issued the proclamation for the inauguration of the 9th Session of Oyo State House of Assembly, OYHA.
A statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Taiwo Adisa indicates that the Clerk of the House, Ms. Foluke Oyediran has been informed about the inauguration of the 9th assembly.
According to the statement, the proclamation was pursuant to the provision of Section 105 Sub-Section 3 of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (As Amended).
The statement notes that the House shall hold its first sitting on Monday, June 10, at 10.am prompt in the hallowed chambers of the House of Assembly, Parliament Buildings, Ibadan.
