Ex President, Ex Oyo Gov, Deputy, Olaniyan, Iheodia, Adeleke, Olafeso, POJ, Olopoeyan, Others In Attendance As Mulikat’s Daughter Weds In Abuja
It was a gathering of both former and serving political office holders, business gurus, and other dignified men and women on Saturday at at Maha Event Centre, Area 8, Garki Abuja, for the celebration of Hon. Mulikat Akande Adeola, the former Majority Leader’s daughter’s wedding.
Hon. Mulikat’s daughter, Mubarakat Oreoluwa wedded her long time lover, Moshood Sulaimon in grand style.
The chairman of the occasion, Former President of Nigeria, Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, urging them to learn to be patient with one another. He admonished the couple to remain in love and unity come rain, come sun. He encourage the newly married couple to always do things together in love, added that marriage remains the oldest institution.
GEJ while giving his speech congratulated his friend, bride’s mother who was the former leader of NASS on the occasion of her daughter’s wedding. He thanked all the personalities on ground for gracing the occasion.
The OYO state Deputy governor, Engr. Rauf Olaniyan, who also attended the Oyo state PDP leader’s daughter’s wedding
wishes the couple the very best in their marital vow.
Also, in attendance, the OYO state APC leader, Former Governor Akala in his short message, expressed his happiness with Hon. Mulikat at the occasion, in his short message, he said “ I’m happy to be here today and this is a clear indication that Mulikat and I are no longer at loggerheads, she’s my sister and we remain one despite our political differences. I wish the couple the very best in their union and may God journey with them”.
Oyo state 2023 governorship hopeful, Engr. Popoola Joshua Olukayode ( POJ )
in his remarks, appreciates his political leader, Hon. Mulikat for the wisdom she uses in training her children despite her political engagements here and there. He wishes the couple marital blessings.
Former Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Alh Hazeem Gbolarumi wishes the couple Allah’s blessings in sound health.
Also a PDP chieftain, Alh Bisi Olopoeyan said he has no doubt that Almighty Allah will bless this union. He congratulates the couple and urged them not to disappoint any of the dignitaries present in their wedding today
Among those who witnessed the event were ex governor of Imo State and a former Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Rt. Hon Chief Sir Emeka, Osun state PDP governorship aspirant , Senator Isiaka Adeleke, Ex. PDP Southwest Zonal Chair, Chief Eddy Olafeso.
