Mr Victor Oluwadamilere an ex aide to Barr. Adebayo Shittu has sued the ex communication minister over
N11.7 million unpaid salaries, Westerndailynews learnt.
Mr Oluwadamilere, who was Shittu’s special assistant on media claimed to the court that, ex minister was not straight forward when dealing with him, said Barr Shitu short paid him during the time working for the ex minister.
The former aide said the defendant put him on a monthly N100, 000 salary as against the approved Federal Government rate of N500, 000 for SA to Honourable Ministers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
On Wednesday 3rd before the before Justice Benedict Kanyip, the plaintiff’s pray to court to direct Barr shittu to pay him N11.7 million accumulated as salaries for 28 months.
In addition, Mr. Oluwadamilare also wants the court to declare that the non-payment of his arrears of salaries was wrongful, illegal and unconstitutional.
Defence counsel, Oluwafemi Davies-Awe, confirmed that though he had been served with all relevant court processes, he needed time to respond to the claimants’ averments.
The judge adjourned the matter until November 13 for hearing.
