Eid-el-Fitr: Adeojo Felicitates Muslims, Prays for Peace and Development


The Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government, Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim Ummah on the successful completion of the 2026 Ramadan fast, urging residents to uphold the virtues of the holy month for societal growth.
In a goodwill message marking the celebration of Eid al-Fitr, Adeojo described Ramadan as a period of deep spiritual renewal, self-discipline, and communal unity. He congratulated Muslims in Ido Local Government, Oyo State, and across Nigeria for their dedication and sacrifices throughout the fasting period.

“As we mark the end of this blessed Ramadan, I rejoice with all Muslims for your unwavering devotion. May the blessings of this period usher in peace, unity, and prosperity for our communities,” he said.
The council boss also offered prayers for divine grace for more people to witness future Ramadan seasons in good health and strength, while seeking accelerated progress, development, and harmony across the state and the local government.
Adeojo further urged residents to sustain the spirit of compassion, generosity, and piety cultivated during Ramadan, noting that such values are essential for building a more inclusive and progressive society.
He reiterated his administration’s commitment to people-oriented governance and called for continued support for local development initiatives, stressing the importance of collective responsibility in advancing the growth of Ido Local Government.
