Dont Put Your Business At Risk – PDP Warns Banks Others Over Suspicious Transactions With Ajimobi
The Oyo State People’s Democratic Party has put more worries on the last minutes of withdrawals from state cover by the Ajimobi outgoing government. The opposition party said the new contract awards, loan overdrafts and massive employments in the civil service are of questionable activities, making without respect for laid down rules of engagement as a breach of public trust and orchestrated to create problems for the incoming PDP administration of the Governor-elect, Engr Seyi Makinde.
The opposition party awaiting to be the ruling party comes May 29, 2019 through it State Publicity Secretary, Engr Akeem Olatunji, made a release available to press on Tuesday, Engr. Akeem berated Gov Ajimobi led APC government for putting unbearable pressures on financial institutions and banks to grant frivolous overdrafts, loans and other instruments immediately Engr Seyi Makinde emerged as the Governor-elect.
Engr Akeem Olatunji further cautions civil servants in the state to always keep records of transactions and avoid unholy alliance with politicians who have no carrier and names to protect. He therefore enjoins them to be vigilant, protect files, documents and information at their disposal in their own interests as anything contrary is against their oath of office and the laws which they swore to uphold.
PDP therefore warns financial institutions not to put their business at risk as the administration will not honor dubious and nontransparent transactions coming up towards the end of the outgoing APC government.
