UNITY FORUM in ADC Gives Tinubu Conditions to rejoin APC, support Adelabu
The break away political force APC, Unity Forum had gave the APC statesman, Asiwaju some conditions to agreed on before the group rejoin their old associates in APC.
In a political effort to sustain the progressive legacy in Oyo State , Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has started propagating reconciliation meetings and evangelising for Chief Adebayo Adelabu, the governorship candidate of All Progressive Congress ahead of next Saturday election.
After the unexpected results of presidential and National Assembly election in the state last Saturday, which was led by, governor Abiola Ajimobi, the chieftains of the party,
ADP candidate Otunba Alao Akala already jettisoned his candidacy to give an unreserved support to Adebayo Adelabu of APC, while in addition to Ogbomoso secured votes, there is ongoing discussion with Unity For in ADC to return to their old party.
The Unity Forum thereafter has reportedly told the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, that certain conditions must be met before it could support the ruling party and work for its candidate, Adebayo Adelabu, on Saturday, March 9.
It was learnt that to cement the agreement and fulfillment of the terms of negotiation as prerequisites to guarantee their welcome into APC’s fold, Tinubu had invited all the gladiators of the unity forum in ADC to his residence at Bourdillon in Lagos on Sunday, March 3, where matters relating to the agreement and fulfillment of terms of negotiation that would facilitate their rejoining APC were fruitfully discussed.
Westerndailynews gathered that, part of the conditions Unity Forum tables includes, upfront disbursement of election mobilization monies directly to Unity group members and dissolution of the executive members at the state level and across the thirty three local governments in Oyo state.
In addition to information gathered, it was reported that Tinubu had pledged to give half of the total amount and wholeheartedly agreed to dissolve the executive members across the state,adding that the ADC leaders promised to get back to the APC national leader after consulting with the members of the party.
