Days After leaving PDP, Omo Iya Eleja Joins NNPP, Picks Ibadan N’E, S’E Fed. Reps. Nomination Form
After his resignation as a People’s Democratic Party member in Oyo state, the Ibadan Northeast Chieftain, Ibrahim Olanrewaju Ajiboye ” Omo Iya Eleja ” joined New Nigerian People’s Party ( NNPP ).
Omo Iya Eleja after receiving his NNPP membership card Ward 8 of Ibadan Northeast local government yesterday, he flew to the party national secretariat in Abuja to pick the House of Representatives expression of interest and nomination forms.
In a telephone chat with weaternsailynews.com, the Ibadan Northeast, Southeast House of Representatives leading aspirant then in PDP said, he decided to join NNPP because it is the only party with a human interest manifesto in Oyo state.
” I left PDP when I realized that the party has no bearing, governing template for the masses and there is no equal opportunity for party members. It is glaring that those at the affairs of the PDP in Oyo state are self-centered and not ready to accommodate fresh ideas, the party leaders, and stakeholders have lost their political voices,
seems adapted with poverty and poor representation, that is why keep selling old wine in an old bottle to the masses, my constituency is a case study.
” My ambition is to empower my people to be self-reliant. Ibadan Northeast, Southeast federal constituency deserves a better representation at the National Assembly.
” Decision to run is borne out of hunger and desire to add value and impetus. This is against the backdrop of the yearnings of the entire people of Ibadan Northeast, Southeast constituency, who believe in the youths as an option and to take the constituency to the much-desired place.
“I am in Abuja now, I have collected the forms, am doing this because I have the required qualities and structure to contest and win at the general election,” Omo Iya Eleja said.
