Chief of Staff to the executive governor of Oyo Ssate, Chief Luqman Oyebisi Ilaka on Friday
felicitated with fellow Oyo state citizens on today’s Christmas celebration.
Ilaka urged Oyo state residents to put their hope in God and sacrifice for fellow beings, as exemplified by Jesus Christ, to enable the state to attain greatness.
” I felicitate with the good people of Oyo State on this joyous celebration of Christmas.
“This season is another opportunity to increase our acts of kindness, touch the less privileged in our society, appreciate God for the outgoing year and pray for a more prosperous new year.
” I urge you all to show love to one another as we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ and strive to emulate the ideals of the Jesus which are love, generosity, selflessness, tolerance, forgiveness and sacrifice.
” As we celebrate with friends and family, I ask that we pray for a more peaceful and prosperous nation and ensure that we observe the COVID-19 guidelines and stay safe.
