Birthday Tribute: ALGON Oyo Applauds Oyedokun’s Role in Strengthening Local Governance
The Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Oyo State chapter, has extended warm birthday felicitations to its Secretary, Oyedokun Oyeniyi Timothy, in recognition of his unwavering dedication and service to grassroots governance.
In a statement made available to the press through its Public Relations Officer, Ibrahim Akintayo, the association, under the leadership of its Chairman, Sanda Sikiru Oyedele, described the celebrant, fondly known as OOT, as a dependable administrator and committed team player whose contributions have strengthened the unity and effectiveness of the body.
The chairmen across the state commended Hon. Oyedokun for his consistent demonstration of exceptional leadership, diligence, and loyalty in the discharge of his duties as Secretary. They particularly acknowledged his role in coordinating the activities of the association and fostering cooperation among local government authorities in Oyo State.
According to the statement, “Hon. Oyedokun Oyeniyi Timothy remains a shining example of purposeful leadership at the grassroots. His passion for service, administrative competence, and ability to bring people together have significantly advanced the objectives of ALGON in Oyo State.”
The association further lauded his support for policies and initiatives that promote good governance and sustainable development at the local government level, describing him as a key driver of progress within the system.
While celebrating his new age, the council chairmen prayed for continued good health, wisdom, and greater accomplishments in his public service journey. They expressed confidence that he will continue to contribute meaningfully to the growth of local governance in Oyo State and beyond.
