The Governorship ambition of the Oyo State APC gubernatorial candidate received a boost this Saturday’s morning as a prominent Ibadan politician and former secretary to Akinyele local government council and former member of the NYSC governing board Barr Dayo Ajibola donated a gigantic campaign bus to senator Folarin at his residence in Oluyole.
Barr Dayo Ajibola who’s currently an assistant director of the legal matters Directorate of Tinubu/ Folarin campaign organization in Oyo state restated his commitment towards the success of APC presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Oyo state APC gubernatorial candidate, Sen Teslim Folarin, Barr Sarafaden Ali APC Oyo south senatorial candidate, Dr. Abdul-Fatai Buhari, APC Oyo north senatorial candidate, Dr. Yunus Akintunde, APC Oyo Central senatorial candidate, Hon Lafioye APC candidate for Akinyele/Lagelu federal constituency, and all other APC candidates in the state.
He said APC in the state had presented the best candidates for various elective posts considering the track records of all the candidates. He enjoined party members in the state to start the door-to-door campaign for all APC candidates to ensure total victory in the next year’s general elections.
While receiving the gigantic campaign bus from Barr Dayo Ajibola in his Oluyole residence in Ibadan, Oyo State APC gubernatorial candidate, Sen Teslim Folarin expressed his happiness as regards the donation.
He said, “I have known Dayo Ajibola Heavy D for close to 20 years now and he has been a very fantastic guy from Ibadan and a lover of democracy in Nigeria.”
He urged party members to emulate the action of Barr Dayo for the betterment of Oyo APC and Oyo state in general.
He reassured party members not to be discouraged in the present state of development in the state saying that APC will by the special grace of God win the next year’s general elections in the state and form the next government for all-round meaningful development rather than blame-game and cosmetic ones being presently witnessed in the state by the PDP led government of Seyi Makinde, Sen Folarin concluded.
