Aseyin’s Death: NNPP Guber Candidate, POJ Visits Palace, Commiserates Family, Raji SAN, Iseyin Indigenes
New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP 2023 governorship candidate in Oyo state, Engr. Popoola Olukayode Johsua ( POJ ) on Friday visited the palace of the Aseyin of Iseyin to commiserate with the royal family and the people of the ancient town over the demise of the first-class ruler, Aseyin of Iseyinland, Oba Abdulganiy Salaudeen.
Aseyin’s death came after the demise of four other traditional rulers in Oyo state within the space of eight months. He died at the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, where he was receiving treatment for an undisclosed ailment.

expressed sadness over the death of the monarch who joined his ancestors last Sunday at age 62 after a protracted illness.
He explained that the state and the country at large will miss his cerebral contributions to nation-building and community development.
POJ described Oba Abdul-Ganiyu Salawudeen’s death as a personal loss to him and the people of Iseyin, saying his party, NNPP will miss the departed King’s advice.
POJ wrote on the condolence register ” I Engr. Popoola Olukayode (POJ), NNPP shall miss your advice and contribution toward Oyo state and Nigeria at large. Almighty God shall console the entire family, Iseyin, Oyo state at large, Pls Sleep Well”.
During his visit to Iseyin town, Popoola and his team also visited the Iseyin-born leading Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Ahmed Adeniyi Raji for political familiarization and to sympathize with him over the death of his royal king.
At Raji’s residence, POJ after commiserating with the legal luminary eulogize him for his philanthropic gesture and urged him not to relent in using his about thirty 35 years’ experience in administrative and constitutional matters, criminal law, debt recovery, and other areas of practice in contributing to the development of Oyo state.
