April 27th Council Election, Gov. Makinde Stands In For Sheriff Adeojo In Ido Local Govt (Video)

 

The Executive Governor of Oyo state, His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde has called on the People Democratic Party (PDP) members in Ido local government to support the candidature of Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo to enjoy the dividend of democracy like never before.

The Governor made the call while presenting the party’s flag to Hon. Sheriff Adeojo as the party standard bearer in the April 27 local government election.

 

The Governor assured the mammoth crowd at the Ido market that his administration is still in control to conduct another local government election at the expiration of the tenure of those that will be elected in April.

Engr. Seyi Makinde therefore called on the traditional rulers, religious leaders, markets leaders, and the good people of Ido local government to cast their votes for Hon. Sheriff Adeojo and Barrister Olayemi Oluwashina as chairman and vice chairman respectively, and all the 10 PDP councilors.
The Governor used the forum to intimate the marketers at Omi-Adio market to be on the lookout for an ultra-modern market by Hon. Sheriff Adeojo with modern facilities in his second term.

The campaign was a roll call of PDP party stalwarts in the state among which are, the PDP state Deputy Chairman, Mr James Olukunle, Alhaji Wasiu Egbewumi Adeleke, Hon.Commissioner, Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Hon. Segun Olayiwola, Chairman Civil Service Commission, Alhaji Kamoru Aderibigbe and a host of party chieftains in Ido local government.
