Alaafin Stool: Alowolodu, An Awaiting Beneficiary Of Agunloye’s Selfish Decision | Demola Adebayo

It’s visible to the blind that the ALOWOLODU royal family is not the one to present the next occupant of the highly respected Alaafin stool in Oyo, it’s Agunloye’s turn.

But some moves by a certain AGUNLOYE branch, having regular meetings in a contender’s house, with other contenders in attendance is what could benefit the ALOWOLODUs.

How do I mean, that the said host of the regular meetings is the octogenarian among the contenders? having regular meetings in his domain means his acceptability.

Alowolodu Wil surely be the beneficiary if the Agunloye’s octogenarian emerges as the next occupant of the revered throne.

The 86-year-old man as the new Alaafin is a long-time plan. Quite unfortunately, the victims of oppression are still the ones running around the old cargo.
The politicians’ core card is about to be used this time around by an 86-year-old man to outsmart the younger dullards.

Kaka ki eku ma je sese, a o fi se awadanu.

A quality and useful parable to qualify a fulfilled, successful, and Self-Centered octogenarian.

He claimed to have contributed a lot to the town by gathering associations of petty traders here and there, staging visits within here and there. How does that translate to development?

He can’t be Alaafin. He has enjoyed his life to the fullest.

How can a man who claimed to be the father of all be contesting with his children when he’s fully aware age is not by his side? That’s greed and self-centeredness. This is even worse than (a fe a je, ma fe a yo ) means someone who wants you to eat, but not to satisfaction.

This man doesn’t even want anyone to eat at all, and that will not work till eternity.

He wined and dined with the late Oba Lamidi Adeyemi for a good 52 years. None of Ladigbolu’s family had access to the palace and benefitted anything, and if there was one, he should come out.

Now that the ticket is back to Agunloye’s ruling House, the same man who is older than the Late Alaafin still wants to be king. No, it won’t work, lawani agogo-oja o ni je o ribe, siyanbola o ni je o seese.

He can not waste our ticket. His plans with Alowolodu will not work. We can’t afford to have a new Alaafin in fourteen years. Step down. We don’t want you as Alaafin.

The meetings in his house do not hold any drop of water. Baba-iyagi is the head of princes, even including him.

He should stop summoning family members who probably don’t have T-fare back to their various quarters so that they could request from him.

His meetings are and will always be baseless until a new Alaafin is appointed!

Ask him how many Gbadegesins have attended the meeting. He knew those would not listen to him. Even though they (Gbadegesins) can’t be Alaafin Now. Their father is the late Oba Lamidi Adeyemi’s predecessor. The new vacant stool belongs to Oladigbolu solely, and we don’t want an 86-year-old man.

We need a younger person who will carry the members of the family along. Not someone whose plan is to set unnecessary records for his sons alone.

I wept about seven years ago when I saw an oyo Prince ( Oladigbolu member) as a Labourer at a construction site in Ibadan. A graduate for that matter.

As the father of all, how many of his grandsons are in such a situation? Absolutely None. He should let others have access to comfort. He has no single chance to be Alaafin in any way.

The Muslims across Yoruba land will not allow an Archbishop to turban the new chief Imam, and that could lead to a religious crisis no one could imagine what the end will be like across the nation. Oyo wouldn’t water down the influence of Alaafin, Ola alaafin o se din ku. Eewo orisa.

Alaafin ATIBA ATOBATELE brought Islam religion to Oyo in the 18th century. He (Alaafin) is fully in charge of selecting his Imam.

Alaafin Muhammad Solid Atibia Atobatele brought Islam to the new capital (Oyo Atiba)

The land for the first mosque in Yoruba- land at Oyo was donated to the Mali transatlantic Muslim traders by Alaafin Eguguojo in 15-55.

When I see some people calling Alaafin an infidel, I just ignore them because they know nothing, even about themselves.

How can anyone tag someone who donated his land for the construction of a Mosque as an infidel? If he was, would he have donated his land to Malian Muslims? No.
