Akinremi Legacy Forum Holds 2nd Year Remembrance, Prayer Session for Late Olaide Akinremi (Jagaban)
The Akinremi Legacy Forum (ALF), comprising dedicated loyalists, followers, and supporters of the late former member representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Prince Musiliu Olaide Akinremi, popularly known as Jagaban, has announced a remembrance event and prayer session to commemorate the second anniversary of his passing.
The programme is scheduled to hold on Friday, July 10, 2026, at Prince Akinremi Jagaban Hall, Samonda, Ibadan, Oyo State, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
The event will bring together family members, political associates, friends, supporters, admirers, and well-wishers to offer prayers for the peaceful repose of the soul of the late lawmaker, while celebrating his enduring legacy of selfless service, exemplary leadership, and unwavering commitment to the people.
Hon. Akinremi was widely regarded as a compassionate leader, a political pathfinder, a committed humanitarian, and an exceptional public servant whose tenure brought meaningful development to Ibadan North Federal Constituency. His representation was marked by impactful constituency projects, youth and graduate empowerment initiatives, educational support programmes, and infrastructural interventions that significantly improved the lives of many residents.
Two years after his demise, his contributions to humanity and grassroots development remain deeply cherished, while his absence continues to be felt across the constituency and beyond.
The Akinremi Legacy Forum, led by members of the late lawmaker’s dedicated Think Tank Team, has remained resolute in preserving and promoting the ideals and legacies he stood for. Through its activities, the Forum continues to honour his memory while sustaining the political structure and vision he bequeathed.
