Akinajo Wins At Tribunal, Congratulates Sworn In Commissioners, Perm Secretaries

Election Tribunal sitting in Ibadan Oyo state capital on Friday has affirmed the election victory of a member of Oyo state House of Assembly, Hon. Olagoke Olamide Akinajo of People’s Democratic Party, representing Ibadan North East Constituency 1.

Jibola Adesina APC candidate and his All Progressives Congress had in a petition, challenged the election victory of Hon. Akinajo. 

The chief judge, D. M. Igyusu with other two unanimously agreed that APC candidate petition lacked merit
thereby dismissed the petition and affirmed the election victory of Hon. Olagoke Akinajo.

The lawmaker reacting to the judgment, he applauded the meticulous decision of the judiciary, assured people of his constituency a meaningful dividend of democracy.

In another development, Akinajo, the Ibadan born lawmaker has congratulated the newly sworn in Oyo state commissioners and permanent secretaries, he welcome them on board and charged them of unquestionable performances.

” I have no doubt that with all versatility of experience and leadership at both your government and private sectors in which many of your had worked, you are poised to provide exemplary leadership to the Oyo State especially in fastracking the development our dear state needed, also in improving and sustaining the state economic, infrastructure, education, political stability, Peace and Security in in Oyo state. He stated
