The Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government Area of Oyo State, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, has congratulated Governor Seyi Makinde on the seventh anniversary of his administration, describing the period as seven years of restoration, transformation and repositioning of Oyo State.
In a congratulatory message made available to journalists, Adeojo praised the governor for what he described as visionary leadership, dedication to public service and commitment to delivering democratic dividends to the people of the state.
“Today we celebrate seven years of restoration, transformation and repositioning under a leader whose vision, dedication and compassion have delivered tangible dividends of democracy across the state,” Adeojo stated.
The council chairman noted that the Makinde administration had recorded significant achievements across critical sectors, including infrastructure, healthcare, education, security and grassroots empowerment.
According to him, the achievements of the administration have positively impacted residents of Ido Local Government and other parts of the state, reflecting the government’s commitment to inclusive development and prudent governance.
Adeojo also expressed gratitude to God for blessing Oyo State with a leader committed to the welfare of the people and the advancement of the state.
He further commended Governor Makinde for pursuing policies aimed at rebuilding institutions, creating opportunities and restoring hope to communities across Oyo State.
“As the people of Ido Local Government, we express our profound appreciation for the dividends of democracy delivered under this administration. We pray that God will continue to grant Governor Makinde wisdom, strength and many more years of fruitful service to the people of Oyo State,” he added.
