Adeojo Calms Down Ileya Anxiety In Ido, Distributes Rams, Cash To Islamic Leaders, Muslim Faithful
The Ido local government executive chairman, Hon. Sheriff Adeojo on has started reaching out to Islamic leaders and Muslim Faithful for the occasion of Eid el Kabir celebration.
Adeojo, the Ido Council Chairman in his act of giving on Thursday began putting smiles on faces of Muslims with Rams and cash gift.
According to Adeojo, he said it has been the yearly tradition of the local government since his inception as the chairman to obey the injunction of the Holy Quran to honor the prophet Ibrahim’s commandment to make a sacrifice to the Almighty Allah in the sacred month of Dhul-Hijjah
The chairman promised to give cash gifts to leaders who could not benefit from the Rams distributed to support them in celebrating Eid el Kabir in their homes.
The Chief Imam of Ido, Alhaji Waliyu on behalf of other beneficiaries thanked Hon. Sheriff Adeojo for his magnanimity to make Eid el Kabir celebration worthwhile for the religious leaders in the local government.
