The Secretary to the State Government, Mrs Olubamiwo Adeosun has said that Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) has a huge role to play on health care agenda of the present administration in the State.
Adeosun made this known during a courtesy visit paid by the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, Oyo State Branch.
She said pharmacists in Nigeria play a prominent role in ensuring that the general public have access to adequate health care services through the provision of quality drugs to all patients.
In his remarks, the Chairman Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) Oyo State Branch, Pharmacist Abiodun Ajibade commended the State Government for its support in health care sector since the beginning of the new administration in the State.
He also solicited for the upgrading of Pharmacy departments in all State Hospitals adding that without drugs health care will be incomplete.
