New PDP Zonal Office, Adeojo Says Makinde Determines To Take PDP To Greater Heights
The executive chairman of Ido local government area, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, has commended Oyo State Governor Engr. Seyi Makinde for the construction of a modern structure as an office for the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in the Southwest zone.
The governor had last year during the commendation service held in honor of the deceased National Vice Chairman of the PDP, Honourable Olasoji Adagunodo at the Frontage of the Presidential Lodge, Oyo State Government House, Agodi, Ibadan promised to build and donate a modern Secretariat to the Southwest Zone of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Upon completion, Gov. Makinde named the building after the late Olasoji Adagunodo, saying it was to honor the late Osun-born politician’s legacy and contributions to politics in the South West.
The Ido local government chairman, while reacting to the kind gesture from Makinde, described the governor as a promise-kept leader and said the governor is so determined to reward all hardworking and loyal PDP members as well as push the party to greater heights
” Leaders who make and keep promises are considered to be more effective and trustworthy. It is commendable that our leader, Governor Seyi Makinde, continues to fulfill all his promises in and outside government.
” The commissioned new Southwest Office for PDP shows he is a party man, a true leader, and committed to the progress of the party’, Adeojo said.
The council chairman attested that the Oyo state Governor in his mind had determined to make the PDP
become higher than ever before and to make it achieve more success and improvement than before.
