Ido Council Boss, Adeojo Preaches Love On Maoulud Celebration

The Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo has extolled the virtues of the best of mankind as we celebrate 1446 AH Maoulud Nabiy to mark the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad.

Hon. Sheriff Adeojo, in his maoulud message to the people of the local government and Muslims at large, advised people to learn from the history of the life and death of the prophet Muhammad (SAW).

Ido council boss said emulating the teachings and practices of the last of the prophets will restore peace to the land and promote brotherhood not only among the Muslims but across mankind.
Hon. Adeojo stressed further that our dream of a better Nigeria can become a reality if leaders and followers can do away with their own selfish interests and show love to their fellow men irrespective of religious or ethnic differences which is the bane of the teachings of the prophet Muhammad.
“Yearly pilgrimage to Mecca and Medina should not be seen as an adventure but a spiritual journey to learn how to live In peace and harmony with a fellow being.”
The council boss therefore urged the Islamic scholars to intensify the real reasons for the remembrance and celebration of the prophet Muhammad in Maoulud Nabiy’s public lecture to reorientate both Muslims and non-Muslims on the need to show love and live as brothers and sisters.
