JCI Ibadan Holds First General Assembly In 2022, Calls For Construction Of Permanent National Secretariat

Guests, well wishers, families, personalities and the national president of the Junior Chamber International, JCI, Nigeria on Sunday 9th January were dignitaries at the first Junior Chamber International, Ibadan general assembly in the year 2022.

The meeting which was arranged to warmly welcome JCI Ambassador Olawale Bakare who recently emerged as the national president of the organization from Oyo State, also had training on “Skills for Life; Skills for 2022; Relationship, Wellness and Mental health” by JCIN Senator Iwalola Akin-Jimoh.

In his welcome address, the JCIN Ibadan President, JCIN Ambassador Olawale Agbomeji encouraged members to be actively involved in the development of the local organization through adequate support and participation.

JCIN Amb. Olawale Agbomeji also used the occasion to appeal to the national president to prioritise the construction of a befitting National Secretariat of the organization, urging all members nationwide to synergize at ensuring the goal is achieved.

it is an abberration that the JCIN after more than half a century presence in the country cannot point to a building as a national Secretariat and we should be the generation to correct the anomaly

Reacting, JCI Nigeria National President, JCIN Ambassador Olawale Bakare commended JCI Ibadan for maintaining standard in the organization, describing it as an important local organization known for many legacies as a pacesetter LO in JCI Nigeria.

The National President also encourage members to learn a new skill relevant for today’s work space.

The meeting had in attendance guest from the National body, JCIN viz; The National President, JCIN Amb. Olawale Bakare, The National Treasurer, JCIN Sen. Kayode Adedayo and  National Vice-president, Southwest district II, JCIN Amb. Odubode Gafar.

Highlight of the meeting included presentation of gifts and induction of new members
