To what is seems to be a new political development in Oyo state politics, westerndailynews has confirmed a close door meeting between the chieftains and leaders of Zenith Labour Party and All Progressives congress in Ibadan.
The meeting of the two political parties which was held on Friday morning was said to be an advanced talk towards the defection of all ZLP members to APC in the state.
ZLP in Oyo state with former governor, Rashidi Ladoja as overall leader was said to be left with no choice than to team up with APC in Oyo state after it was left stranded by Oyo PDP.
It will be recalled that, Zenith Labour Party with ADC, SDP gave all their political artilleries out to support governor Seyi Makinde to defeat the ruling part at 2019 governorship election, but dumped and not rewarded for their contributions towards the success of PDP and Makinde.
