Oyo TESCOM Begins CBT For Applicants
Oyo State Government, through its Post Primary Teaching Service Commission, has commenced Computer Based Test for thousands of Intending Teachers in the State.
The exercise, holding at Distance Learning CBT Centre, University of Ibadan, along Shasha-Ajibode road, commenced at 8:00a.m on Tuesday, August 11, 2020, under strict compliance of COVID-19 protocols.
In her remarks, the Permanent Secretary, Oyo State Teaching Service Commission, TESCOM, Mrs Grace Oderinde said the exercise is targeting at selecting competent Teachers who will contribute positively towards improving the standard of education in the State; adding that the Commission has made adequate provisions for all applicants including physically-challenged Persons.
In their Separate remarks,the Chairman Nigeria Union of Teachers, Oyo State Chapter, Comrade Samson Adedoyin and Director, Education Advancement Centre, Pastor Muyiwa Bamigbose, described the exercise as hitch free.
Some of the applicants who spoke with BCOS News correspondent, Olamiposi Ishola, commended TESCOM for the peaceful coordination of the processes.
According to an earlier Interview with the Chairman of TESCOM, Pastor Akin Alamu, the Computer Based Test, which started on Tuesday, August 11, will be rounded up on Friday, August 21, 2020, as it is expected to last for ten days.
