………. Council Boss To Roll Out Widow’s Empowerment Soon
The Chairman of Akinyele South Local Government Council Development Area (LCDA) of Oyo State hon, Ahmed Kazeem Adekunle on Thursday distributed 150 registration slips of Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) forms he bought for indigent and diligent students of his council area.
Hon. Ahmed Kazeem also known as KAGARA in the presence of prominent people of Akinyele, political figures, parents and guidance distributed the candidate’s registration slip of the free JAMB forms to the beneficiaries.
He said the beneficiaries cut across the wards of the LCDA , as it is part of his own educational support to the youth of the area.
He urged the beneficiaries to study hard, make good grades in the forthcoming examinations, gain admission to study in reputable higher institution in order to become responsible to themselves , their community, state and nation.
Kagara also appealed to the students to desist from social vices rather focus on their academics that would bring them a greater fortune.
“Education is the bedrock of any nation to grow and that is what prompted me to extend these forms to you,” Hon. Amed addressing the beneficiaries
He further stated that the gesture is aimed at improving the standard of education in the communities within is local council development area.
He added the forms were distributed to reduce the burden of JAMB registration fee on parents of the students, he pointed out that, what was done for the youths is just a tip of the ice berg of his administration contribution to his people, he promised to role out some empowerment plans sonnet.
Hon Kagara urged the people of the council and Oyo state keep on supporting and praying for governor Seyi Makinde led government to succeed as Makinde administration is poised to redeemed the lost glory of the pace setter state in all sectors.
A beneficiary, Adekunbi Deborah, said she went for the the free JAMB registration because of her poor parent’s financial status
“I appreciate our honorable chairman for the great privilege given to the students in this community,” Deborah said.
Some parents who were present at the presentation of the registration slip by council chairman at HLA primary sch Ojoo Ibadan appreciated hon. Kagara gesture and promised they would encourage their children to reciprocate the kindness by coming out in flying colors.
Personality present at the presentation are, SSA on SDGs Hon Yusuf kunle MON represented by Mr lateef Alaja, Akinyele South HLA Alhaji I A Adeleke with all the management of the council, PDP party chair Akinyele lg Otunba Adekola bBadmus, Oyo Sate PDP Financial Secretary, Com. Akeem Arinola Alhaji Adebiyi, Mrs Ayo Bakare PDP woman leader Akinyele local government, party leaders and other political figures in Akinyele local government.
