102 COVID-19 Patients Discharged In Oyo, Records 15 New Cases

Additional 102 coronavirus patients had left isolation centre in Oyo state to reunite with their families after receiving their second negative test results.

The information was made known by Seyi Makinde, the executive governor of Oyo state via his tweeter handle on Sunday morning.

Makinde who had earlier announced the first COVID-19 patient delivery at the Infectious Disease Centre, Olodo said the total number of discharged cases in Oyo State to 809.

” 102 confirmed COVID-19 cases received their second NEGATIVE test results and have been discharged. This brings the number of discharged cases in Oyo State to 809.

The state on Saturday also recorded 15 new cases, all within Ibadan.

” Also, the COVID-19 confirmation tests for fifteen suspected cases came back POSITIVE. The cases are from Ibadan North (5), Ibadan South West (3), Egbeda (3), Oluyole (2), Lagelu (1) and Akinyele (1) LGAs. So, the total number of confirmed cases in Oyo State today is 1466″, Makinde added.

He urged Oyo state residents to call the state Emergency Operations Centre on 08095394000, 08095863000, 08078288999 08078288800, if anyone has any COVID-19 symptoms like : cough, fever, tiredness, body ache, loss of smell/taste and shortness of breath.
